Paul McCobb's Planner Group furniture is the very definition of mid-century modern, as it was the first modular furniture line marketed on a wide scale. While not rare, this set of four blonde wood side chairs looks to be in very good shape and is a deal at $340. Nicely detailed, with tapered legs and Windsor-esque spindles. (Seller invokes Nakashima.) This set could be be mixed in with Danish modern pieces or be pulled up around a round Saarinen table in a small eat-in-kitchen.
