a general question-- why is NY scavenger so much blander than LA or SF scavenger? Has NY been scavenged to death? To be clear, I don't think it's the editor's fault-- I think it could be the city's. NY has been combed over so thoroughly for quality vintage-- it's rare that something pops up on craigslist. I've been looking for 4-6 good midcentury wooden dining chairs over over a year in NY...
