This is a Tech Lighting 'Powell Street' pendant lamp. It's commercially available. This may not be a bad deal (internet prices appear to be about $350) but it's not a custom piece, and it's certainly not a collector's item. Just a heads up.
Also, if you've a drill, you can get a big stainless steel bowl, drill a hole at the bottom, turn it around and wire it... for less than 20 bucks. Just a heads up.
