I'm a shutter-happy traveler, especially when trekking solo. Scenery, architecture, sunsets — all gorgeous in person, but generally underwhelming when you return and share with friends. A simple way to get some daily enjoyment from your vacation pics is to create a photo calendar.
A few years ago, I spent two weeks in Florence taking cooking lessons and learning Italian. It was my first solo vacation, and I returned with lots of happy memories and over 300 photos. 90% of them were scenic and touristy, and frankly, someone else already captured it better for a coffee table book.
Well, I happened to come across an offer for a free photo calendar from Vistaprint, and I put those photos to use. I love that one of the first things I see in the morning are photos from my trip. They may not be the most beautiful shots of the Arno & the Duomo, but they bring me back to Firenze for a few moments every time I see it.
How do you display vacation photos?
