Just in time for spring cleaning, a floor washing robot!
Scooba is a small robot who moves around your hard floors, sweeping, scrubbing and slurping as it goes. Watch him in action by selecting product video here. One drawback: we wish you could use any floor cleaning solution (we'd choose a greener one), but hopefully that will come in time as customer demand grows.
Retailing for around $400., a Scooba would be a major purchase, but the thought of never mopping again is tempting. Scooba is made by the same roboticists who created the vacuuming robot, Roomba.
If Scooba comes and cleans our floor regularly, we may just have to get one of these...

I have two of these, and sang their praises for the first year. However, contrary to everything I've said about these robots, DO NOT BUY a Roomba or a Scooba. THEY ARE PIECES OF JUNK and I'm so irritated at that company right now. They don't do out-of-warrantee-repairs, you have to buy a whole new one. They don't last more than a year. GARBAGE. But they do make for fun videos with cats. If you have a cat you want to humilate, get one. Otherwise, don't.
