Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: Keep the cables out of sight. As a DJ and producer I've got to deal with an unbelievable amount of wires. I got so fed up with the crows nest on my old desk that I hand built a custom console to house all the equipment and hide the cables. There are surge protectors built into the box to efficiently power everything as well as an in-desk iPhone dock and USB hub to keep peripherals neat and tidy while working.I built the legs into shelving units to store records, paperwork, and photo gear. What used to be an awkward nook in a walk in closet, is now my dream home studio.
