“Whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off—then, I account it high time to get to sea.” –Moby Dick
While you may not be knocking off hats in a literal sense, after being cooped up all winter most of us could use a bit of an escape. Take a hint from Melville with this Sea Creature inspired décor.

Nomade Express Slee...
That bottle opener is creepy in a very good way.
Oh, please, please let this not become a trend!
I am getting sea-creature fabric to make bathroom curtains with, and I so easily tire of trendy things.
I put up this print http://vintagraph.com/wpa-posters/travel-tourism-posters/6545599 in my room and would love to add more sea creature decor but im afraid of it becoming to "theme-y." Love that whale pillow.
Hey Mr. Modtomic, thanks for referencing those two before and afters--they are really awesome!
I love that blue octopus illustration, I wish I could draw that way. I really love the sea creature inspiration. Grotto style furniture is pretty far out.
I have the "From The Deep" dinnerware. It looks fantastic mixed in with mismatched traditional white or blue-and-white china.
