This weekend we got down to the nitty gritty business of changing out a secondary internal hard drive. We had to change out the guts of our system after filling it to the brim with HD content from iTunes (we've finally jumped into watching Heroes and thus found ourselves with zero room after partially downloading Season 1). The admittedly modest 160GB drive of music and video moved over to the roomy external 1 terabyte Free Agent Pro, then back over to a new 500 GB Seagate Barracuda from Newegg ($75 and it came literally the next morning). Thank goodness for spacious external drives for these sort of situations and daily backups, like these two new Seagate external drives that were specifically designed to work with and compliment Mac setups.

How to Enter:
So how do you win one of these spiffy new external storage solutions? Easy. Just tell us what you plan to store on your new drive if you're chosen as our random winner. Also tell us which drive you prefer (Windows users can opt for a Windows-compatible equivalent). We'll pick one random winner for each drive on Thursday night at 11:59pm (yes, we're up that late) and announce those winners on Friday.

Rules: Please, only one submission per person per giveaway post. Duplicate submission will be discarded. You'll need to be a registered member of the Apartment Therapy network of sites to post a submission. Winners must claim their prize within three business days after the date of notification of such prize. A Sweepstakes winner's failure to respond to the prize notification within the specified three business days will be considered such Sweepstakes winner's forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries.
