This holiday-themed GIF magic post is for anyone who thinks decorating for the holidays takes too much effort. Or maybe for the person who doesn't like the bright red, over-commercialized kind of holiday decor that can sometimes be overwhelming. In this special GIF magic, see how a young couple's eclectic Austin home is transformed (rather simply and elegantly) with a few key pieces of holiday decor, creating a cozy, cheery look in a sophisticated way.

Tiffany and Alan's Austin home (when it's not decorated for the holidays, of course) features a chic, "new traditional" style, clean white walls, and an eclectic array of furniture and accessories. It's impressive, but even more so knowing that it's Tiffany and Alan's first house. It comes as no surprise to see that they've decorated for the holidays in a warm and modern way.

I think one of the best things about the way they decorated their home is how they added little touches of holiday decor throughout the house, so that festive cheer can be seen and felt everywhere — but the home's not drowning in holiday decor. Anyone could take inspiration in the way a garland makes a beautiful over-the-bed addition, or how a mini tree on a dresser gives just a tiny bit of cheer to a corner.

Most of the home uses a muted, earthy color palette of greens and golds in the form of live garlands and wreathes. But then they show off their fun, youthful side with colorful ornaments on their Christmas tree in traditional colors, but modern shades.
