These are two 3'X4' paintings displayed in my bedroom in the Upper East Side. The artist is myself. Both pieces were created in the apartment; "The Figure Five" (right) was inspired by "The Figure Five in Gold" by Charles Demuth. The medium is acrylic on canvas.

Pitch:
The Mixed media piece (left), also 3'X4' is titled "Luis, Private Luis", was inspired by a friend fighting in Iraq. Both paintings are not for sale and part of my own private collection. The room was inspired by "The Figure Five in Gold" and painted before the "The Figure Five" had even begun.
