Well, I decided to send some photos of my "art". They really aren't contest-worthy by any stretch of the imagination but here goes.
The first one I did myself when I was in high school. Just simple pencil drawings that I hung in the kitchen.

The second one - top is a photo of me in Llandudno, N. Wales and the bottom one is a original watercolor that I bought in Versailles, France. It's of the grounds near the Trianon.

The third is a collection of "stuff" - one being my homage to Magritte. I also used an old floor vent cover to display a flower photo. The rest is just gallery cards I had on hand. Oh, and an old farmhouse mirror.
The prices on these are pretty much lost in space or non existent.

Very sweet!
Good for you, Anne! Your own work, found art, and an original work from travel -- the best way to go, if one can.
nice - and what color are those kitchen walls?
I like what I see here... it seems very calm and measured. I may dig up an old high school art project or two to see if it's something I would want to live with now. (Currently my folks have custody of all old school papers.)
And Anne: oddly, I have the same green and yellow bag. I've never seen another one! I bought mine about seven years ago and it has held up well.
It's very nice and homey -- I like the h.s. drawings best!
Thanks for braving the exposure!
Nicely displayed, though the art itself isn't really to my taste. However, that it all means something to you makes it all the better!
