See Rome's Profane Medieval Frescoes for the First Time Ever

At Rome's Santi Quattro Coronate basilica, 13th century frescoes were discovered under plaster during a restoration project. While not exactly smut, the content depicting secular life is daring for Medieval nuns. Starting in September, the frescoes will be shown by appointment during two days each month.
