Nomade Express Slee...
The store "WA" in Provincetown MA sells the most gorgeous framed bug arrangements, including elaborate painted beetles. Simply Home, a restaurant/store in DC, has elss elaborate ones.
While they are aesthetic, doing that to bugs just seems wrong...
the beetles are so much more beautiful showing their natural colours... there's a reason they (certain dung beetles) are called jewell beetles! i have a pair of M&F emerald green beauties (still need to figure out their common name) displayed in a shadow box i painted to match and they are simply stunning.
