Seito Trading

Sushi Central. We just came across Seito Trading, which looks like a great little resource if you are looking for anything needed for a professional sushi kitchen. Japanese knives are the stars here (they have six major brands), but you might also be inerested in theirprofessional towel warmers and cool Japanese pots and pans.

Ask for directions, but Seito is "only 5 minutes from Manhattan" through the Midtown Tunnel. (Thanks, Ann!) MGR

Ann says: It's an interesting little place. A little hard to find and a bit small, but they have a lot of Japanese things at pretty reasonable prices. They have dishes, sake sets, knives, curtains with designs(noren?), etc. I got a great knife that I am very happy with.
