Send a Smile With Their Lunch

Ahoy mateys! This pirate banana and egg put a huge smile on our face so we know it will do the same for you kids even if lunch is at PS 29 instead of on the high seas.

When she's not busy sending frisbees through the mail, Amber is sending a little love and levity in her daughter's lunchbox. What a fun idea on a special occasion (like a birthday or, of course, Talk Like a Pirate Day) or for a special surprise on a blah, Tuesday in February.

We'd be hard pressed to come up with something cuter than this pirate get-up, but use your imagination. Bananas seem especially (pardon the pun) ripe for a little lunchtime costuming or at the very least as a canvas for a sweet message.

Amber's arrrguably awesome banana and egg were part of a guest post on SEI Lifestyle (for lovers of paper and scrapbooking) where she links to some other nice ideas for making lunch special. And you can always find her ideas for giftgiving on Givers Log.
