Seriously Beautiful Lamps from Six Pack Plastic Rings

These beautiful lamps were crafted by Relevé Design out of 6-pack plastic rings. Instead of these plastic rings choking birds, they now illuminate those lucky enough to own them.

Relevé Design's lamps are currently finalists in Inhabitat's Spring Greening Competition, so if you like them go ahead and cast your vote.

Each pendant lamp is lit with LEDs, so they run with generating virtually zero heat. Relevé currently has three models of lights:

The Lotus Pendant Lamp made from 40 folded six pack rings secured with crimps made from 1 soda can.
Dimensions: 12" diameter, 6" height
Lamp: standard base, 110V, PAR-16, LED
Upcycled materials: low density polyethylene (LDPE) six pack rings, polypropylene (PP) deli lid, aluminum soda can

The Pine cone lamp made from 66 layered rings strung together on wires, seperated by spacer beads made from 2 soda cans. It also has a decorative cord sleeve knit from 20 plastic shopping bags.
Dimensions: 9" diameter, 11" height
Lamp: standard GZ4 base, 8~30VDC, G4 LED Lamp with 5 SMD LEDs
Upcycled materials: low density polyethylene (LDPE) deli lid, polypropylene (PP) cap, aluminum soda can

The Pinecone II pendant lamp
Dimensions: 7.5" depth, 8" width, 7.5" height
Lamp: standard GZ4 base, 8~30VDC, G4 LED Lamp with 5 SMD LEDs
Upcycled materials: low density polyethylene (LDPE) deli lid, low density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic bags
