Ohdeedoh reader Melissa was kind enough to send us a photo of her recent diy project. She hit up her local thrift stores for some silver platters and instead of using them for table decor, she added some chalkboard paint hung them on the wall. More details after the jump...

Melissa is expecting and is busy decorating a nursery. These serving platters turned wall art are sure to be a great addition and will be able to customized as her little one grows. Melissa is excited about her daughter using them once she gets a little older for drawing on little cakes and other pretend “tea party” foods.
