Even if you haven't heard of Rebecca Thuss, chances are you've seen her work. She's styled some of the most amazing sets, weddings, and parties for Martha Stewart's magazines (Living, Weddings, even the defunct Blueprint); her portfolio site is literally page after page of inspiration. What we love most? Her creative table settings and centerpieces in a wide range of color combinations. Take a peek at some of our favorites after the jump...
Pink, Champagne, and Chocolate. Instead of big flower centerpieces, this table has a bit of a Japanese feel with the floating candles and peonies in finger bowls.
From low to high. Green and sunshine yellow mixed with rustic wood tones gives this table a English garden style. We could see something similar working on porch steps, with small urns painted white and daffodils.
A mix of tonal greens (Apple and Emerald green) is accented with light blue and whites. This color combination would work beautifully in a bathroom.
This tonal pink table settings reminds us so much of Abby's pad (and her fabulous pink chair!)
If you're looking for something a bit more striking, go all out in one color plus white or black. The red in this table setting commands all the attention to the point where the textures and shapes of the flowers and vases become the points of interest.

Aww, yes. I clearly remember drooling over a few of these before I got married. They were a little too complicated for me to do on a budget, and for 200 people, but I loved them.
Lovely.
Everyone who has ever designed tables where the floral arrangement blocks conversation should be forced to eat all their meals peeking around florals & branches. Beautiful but just not practical for conversation... I love her aesthetics just not the practicality.
Just breathtaking. And that red is dazzling.

er, those aren't daffodils in the white urns - lily of the valley
Wow, thanks for sharing her website, what a great resource for ideas!
I'm going to be helping my sister plan her wedding and this should be great inspiration. Thanks!

I always wonder how many people these days entertain to this level? All this is lovely, but when we have guests, it's casual buffet time or pizza or something informal -- I can't imagine REALLY hosting an event calling for centerpieces. Let alone tablescapes!
SherryBinNH - normally I'm with you. But I try to do something like this for Thanksgiving and Christmas or a special occasion (someone's birthday dinner, etc...). That red would be wonderful for Christmas.
