The stunning curves of this handcrafted beauty had us swooning, even though our one-bedroom apartment lacks the space or the drama to support this settee by Louis Fry. This Texas-based craftsman creates one of kind furniture based on the needs and ideas of individual clients (though he will also recreate any piece on his site)...
At $5000, this settee is out of our range for now, but is the kind of piece we would happily save up to buy. The investment would be worth it just for the quiet joy looking at this settee brings us- not to mention it's the type of furniture that can be passed down bringing joy to generations to come.

swoon is an appropriate word- I can see any old Hollywood star reclining on this piece. Handcrafted- wow!
It's so funny, because now that I know he's from Texas, all of a sudden, this is reminding of that furniture that's made down there from the horns of longhorn cattle. And yet it's SO very different from that. I saw one of those at the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum the other day. It wasn't in the Rococo show, it was in some other show they had.
Wowza! Truly gorgeous. Way out of my price range, but one of the few design pieces I've seen that is truly worth its pricetag.
Oh wow, that's sexy and I have just the spot for it. Too bad I lack the $5000...
unbelievable lines on that piece!
