• 2 If you're in the mood to go the DIY route, try this project from Lena Corwin, who used the Cosco 2000 Custom Stamp Kit from Staples to make her own industrial-looking address stamp, then dressed it up with a flowery pattern of her own design. great housewarming or bridal shower gift.
Great gift idea. I have a rubber stamp I use and always looking for new designs, thanks for posting this.
Nice! another great custom stationary web site : www.expressionery.com for cute little things.
These are all great examples, but we have the problem of being a couple with different last names (both of which are on the longer side). I have done a lot of searching and very few of these will allow over 23 characters in one line (in order to get both our last names in).
Please post if you know of a place that will do stamps/labels with many characters!
We were given a raised seal with our address on it when we closed on our house. That was two years ago. I have never used it. I have no idea what to use it for.
That takes me back to when I was a kid and my parents gifted my brother and I with custom stamps with our names and addresses. Mine was bordered by a kitty. His by a dinosaur. I think we used them to stamp our books in case they got lost at school.
Those all all beautiful. My problem is that I don't send letter enought to need a address stamp. But if they look this nice, I might get one anyway.
I have a cute address stamp just for myself, and since I send tons of mail, I use it all the time. Luckily it is self-inking. My boyfriend and I are getting married, so we just got the stamp that says "cohen" above, and we love the look of it but it is a pain to use an ink pad.

These are really pretty - even though they're around $45 for a stamp, they have a promotion (see the banner) for 40% off.

NICE.... can't wait to get one of these!!! I get tired of writing our return address during xmas... and I won't order labels... a perfect solution!
You missed my favorite on Etsy: lettergirl.etsy.com. LOVE her self-inking stamps.
a friend gave us a stamp of our new address from paperwink for our housewarming and it's truly a great gift! I use it all the time =)
After months of lurking -- LOVE this site! -- I finally registered so I could comment on this.
Conberry, have you thought about putting your first names on one line and last names on another line? Like this:
Jane John
SMITH DOE
123 Street Name
Anywhere, OZ 55555
Oh, darn. The site removed the plus signs I had between the names. Imagine plus signs!
Patia -- Thanks so much for the great idea. The problem I've run into is that are last names are just too long for all of these type of things. Even if we only put last names on one line, we are looking at 22 characters before putting in spaces or a plus sign!
I think we'll just have to find a designer (possibly someone on etsy) who will do a custom design just as we need it in order to fit the names on.
Thanks again for the idea!
I'm glad you saw this, even if it won't work for you. I'm sure you can find an Etsy seller who will be glad to help. I've had great experiences with custom orders on Etsy. Good luck!
Do not recommend Sweet Papery if you need your stamps in under a month. They are s.l.o.w. and inflexible.
