SEW: The Tiny Sewing Machine That Becomes a Light

Another concept from the talented Brazilian based Baita Design is SEW. This sewing machine, quite unlike others we have profiled on Unplggd is tiny! Not only is SEW quite small it also pulls double duty as a light fixture. With a device this small that is also a lamp, we cannot think of an apartment that is too small for this to find a home in.

This eye catching mini sewing machine made of steel and plastic measures 11 x 10 x 5 inches making it small enough to fit into the tiniest of tiny urban apartments. A great feature of this sewing machine is its ability to be used as a table lamp, negating the need to stow it away when its not being used to sew.

We love the design of the machine and love that it can also serve as lighting. While this sewing machine is certainly not built for heavy duty sewing, we think that this is a perfect device for small repairs and projects.

What do you think? Would you purchase SEW should it become available?
