SF Good Questions: Cotton, Wool and Coconut Coir Fibre Mattress?

AT:SF, I fell in love with this great mattress back in Finland. It's made out of cotton, wool and coconut coir fibre. It's both soft and firm. I have tried to find something similar from San Francisco, but haven't been successful so far...

...All the ones I've found have had latex in them, which I don't want, natural latex or not.

This one from a Finnish shop has 3cm of coconut coir, 8 layers of cotton and the top layer is lambs wool. It says on the page that the mattresses are handmade in Poland. I have asked the shop of the manufacturer's name, but so far have not got an answer.

Any ideas where to get one like this? Or any experiences custom-ordering one?

Lilli,

Honestly, we'd never heard of mattresses with coconut coir fibre in them until we received your question. Our research didn't turn up any for sale in the U.S. -- but perhaps one of our readers will prove us wrong...
