AT:SF, My partner and I are buying a house -- a major fixer-upper -- and we're planning to redo the entire kitchen. The house was built in 1955, so we'd like to keep the general mid-century look to the kitchen and keep the original (Wedgewood?) range...
...We're thinking hardwood floors (to match the rest of the home's flooring), simple white cabinets, and stainless steel appliances (fridge and dishwasher). However, I'm having trouble envisioning how it will look to have a 50+ year old range with modern appliances. Anyone have pictures of a modern-ish kitchen with an old range? Any websites with kitchen design ideas would also be welcomed. Thanks!
FYI, that's the seller's stuff, not ours!
Offhand, we could only think of Julie and Andrew's Art-Filled San Francisco Abode.
