These Displays turn any room into a Church of Media. The TV and electronics being the Altar of Worship - Yuck!

A tv is only an alter or "church of media" if it's treated that way by the user...

TV's are a significant part of our mass culture, just like our furniture, books, photography, prints, clothes, music, & of course computers & electronics. Our rooms are always a display of our media culture. TVs just take up more room.

I don't have a TV and I don't miss it
