We love Garnet Hill's boldly colored, pared-down take on the traditionally-crafted Moroccan side table. Eclectic Home has taken the idea even further, offering a simple Moroccan-like silhouette with cutout detail, and offering it in their nine trademark colors. The Key Table would made a great accent piece in a livingroom or bedroom.
Predictably, simplicity has a price: $315 here.
Personally I think they're overpriced and boring, but that's just me. I like what they tried to accomplish but the square shape and yucky (in my opinion) colors miss the mark. I realize the color scheme was chosen to mimic the other tables but they should have thought more outside the box.
Personally I like the originals better, as I think the hex shape captures the Moroccan feel better.
I think if you're willing to spend that kind of money for a little table, and afraid of how a bold Moroccan table would fit in a modern home, I'd look at these, myself.
You can always paint over this one...

I love the warm colors and the attention to detail in this one.

This has an almost "Goth" look to it.

Cute, but even more obscenely priced than Garnet Hill's table. At least that one Target has had the grace to knock off almost exactly for $39.99.

Another idea (for $40):

Target is fun, but it's all about throw-away stuff. Pay your $40, but it has a shorter shelf-life than Lindsay Lohan's latest rehab.
I attended the New York Gift Show in 2004 when the owner of House Eclectic debuted her color theory and it was all the rage. The HE booth was one of the most popular and well-attended and the media was very positive. Her pieces are hand-crafted and the colors are innovative and refreshing accents to any room. Quality has a price tag.
