25 Strange Throw Pillows

Throw pillows -- the cheapest way to bring a new look to your room. But new doesn't always mean stylish, chic or pretty...take a look at this list of 25 unusual pillows that run the gamut from clever to downright creepy.

Popped Culture took on the humble throw pillow for their list, coming up with a few that made us smile (think Mac icons, Nintendos and Scrabble tiles) and some that left us scratching our head (the blood pool and Godfather horse head pillows, for example).

But the absolutely strangest of all? The Japanese lap pillow, which is shaped like a kneeling woman's legs (short skirt included) and described as "a comfy cushion for napping, reading or watching television." And though it didn't make the list, there's also a "boyfriend arm pillow" available for the ladies.

How do they ensure that the 'boyfriend arm pillows' are only bought by women?

I'm sure they would hate lonely gays to purchase and therefore sully the reputation of their company, being such a classy product and all.

Those sushi pillows are hilarious!! My girls would love them for their toy kitchen set.

Makes me think my regular old square pillows in my shop are nothing but dull! :) Cynthia

Okay, I want those Nintendo ones XD

The Scrabble ones are okay, but at first glance I thought they were chemical symbols and got disappointed when they weren't :( (Rest your head on some Caesium! Or don't, because if you do, you won't have a head. In which case you'll be needing the head wound pillow.)
