If these rooms have inspired you, head over to the Decorator Showcase site for hours and details. Tickets are $30, and it is of course a fundraiser (for University High School's financial aid program), so it's money well-spent!
Thursday evenings at the Decorator Showcase from 5:30pm to 7pm, affiliated designers will be signing copies of their recent books. Head over there tonight to see John Wheatman, who decorated the study in this year's showcase; next week, meet Chronicle garden editor Zahid Sardar and the wonderful photographer Marion Brenner.
Anyone been to see the house yet? Do tell!
Thanks for the great preview shots. I haven't been yet but will be checking it out at the weekend. I used to pass this house on my morning run and always wondered what it was like inside so I can't wait to see. By the way, those blackboards in the dining room are genius - a fantastic way to deal with the paneling in these SF houses. Love it.

@twicelight -
Actually, these aren't preview shots of the Showcase house; they're shots from the portfolios of the featured designers. Am anxious to see what the Showcase looks like after finding these inspiring shots of their previous work!

Go! It's for a good cause (says a slightly biased alumna).

LOVE that Dining room by Faiella Design...what a clever idea with the chalkboard? It's totally inexpensive and so effortlessly beautiful. It really adds a feeling of...bistro flair or something. I can't put my finger on it. I'm totally going to be inspired by this for my own dining room!

Yes - Several of these rooms are from previous showhouses - such as the bathroom in the last photo.
Im intrigued by that staircase - the rope bindings on the steel ballisters are really quite interesting.

Another alumna here... please go! It's for a great cause, even if I did grumble about working the event back in the day.
