SF Spring Cure: Week Three Check In

3-28-curelogo.jpgAs week three draws to a close, we're sensing some people starting to lose steam. Curing can be a lot of hard work! But hang in there, because we're almost to the halfway point. If you're getting discouraged, look around and really take stock of all that you've accomplished so far - we're betting it's more than you think. This is where taking photos really comes in handy - those of you who have been - how different are your pre-cure photos to your current ones? Sometimes what we think of as little changes in real life show up as big changes in your pictures.
For those of you who are saving most of your work for the weekends, you can check back on this week's assignments in the Week Three post. And of course, there's no where better to look for inspiration and support than the SF Spring Cure flickr group.

So, as we get geared up for week four what lies ahead for the weekend? Anyone tackling something they're worried about? How did creating landing strips go? Any great tips to share?

I'm surprised to not see comments here already! I'm feeling great about being 99% done with the seating area in my great room (a combo living/dining/kitchen in on big space, but not in a loft).

It seems that there is still way more in my outbox than I know what to do with but I have the gratification of a room I really like to lounge in.

I have four things left to do in the coming week, plus a reuphostery job that will take another few months for the $$.

* Finish making pillows (I bought supplies and made welting last week. Now I have to cut fabric, put in zippers, and sew it all together.
* Get the accent lamp that's been on my wish list for months and months.
* Select a few coffee table books from my outbox and put them on my new coffee table.
* Steam out and hem the new drapes.

In two weeks my new dining table should arrive -- I haven't a table in a couple of months now and eating at the kitchen counter (or on the floor under the counter, with my back against the cupboards) is getting old. then I think I can call the dining area done.

The kitchen needs a window treatment and a few colorful accent pieces for the windowsill.

Then entry room needs window treatments and art hung on the walls. Two chairs need to be refinished and recovered, but that's going to have to wait for $$, too.
