New Animal Portraits by Berkley Illustration

101409berkley1.jpgWith so many creatures to choose from, it is no wonder that Ryan and Lucy of Berkley Illustration have been keeping busy since we last heard about them. This Portland duo have been hitting the national craft fair circuit hard this summer, but are back home and introducing some new animal prints and other goodies! Meet Mr. Donkey and…

Mr. Llama... both looking quite snazzy!

This year Berkley Illustration has expanded their Etsy shop to include bottle openers, buttons, and magnets. All at very reasonable prices.

They signed on with Urban Outfitters to sell some Framed Animal Portraits. New prints will be released there early next year.

These illustrations are a great way to add a bit of whimsy to your home without breaking the bank. The prints are available as 5x7, 8x10, and 11x14. You can also find original art and limited edition prints (like Mr & Mrs Squirrel) in their shop. I’ve been informed that in a few weeks, for an extra fee, you will have the option of having a handwritten name or message appear on a banner under the animal of your choosing!

I actually like the framed portraits. LOL

Think I might steal one and use it as my Facebook Profile Pic.

I bought a couple of these awhile back. The cardinal looks very handsome over my kitchen sink, and the sloth made an excellent cubicle gift for a friend. The artist is super helpful and friendly.

I think they're cool in a kitchy sort of way...

these things are great - I have 3. They're way more than just animals in people clothes.

i love the kitchy ones at Grand Ole Bestiary on etsy. For me, animal heads on human bodies work best in black & white
