Tugboat Prints at Renegade Craft Fair

This past weekend's Renegade Craft Fair offered plenty of eye candy - some from old favorites, others from artists that were new to us. Of the latter, Tugboat Printshop stood out as one of our favorites...

We've always loved the look of a good quality woodcut print, and the intricate pieces from Tugboat did not disappoint. They also have a selection of etchings and original drawings available at their online shop.

A sampling of their portfolio:

  1. "Wavejumper"

  2. "Fake Plants", available for $75

  3. "Buses as Caterpillars"

  4. "Diving Whales"

  5. "America the Beautiful", available for $485

Tugboat makes wonderful work! Of further interest to AT, they also did an amazing renovation on their rowhouse in Pittsburgh, which is home to both them and their printshop. Check it and their works-in-progress out on their flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tugboatprintshop/.
