Amy Ruppel State Birds Series On Sale at 1pm Today

At 1pm today she will be presenting the first half of the union, alphabetically, and we’ve got a special preview of some of the work that will be available…

Paintings of state birds from Alabama to Missouri will sell for $135 each (a bargain!) starting at 1pm on her website, and the remaining states will “take flight online on Friday, March 6th.” Each of these original encaustic paintings are one of a kind, so act fast if you have a favorite. If you miss out on the original, all is not lost. Amy will also have 5"x7" and 8"x10" prints of each image available starting next week for $25 and $45, respectively.

Amy sent a sneak preview of some of the paintings that will be available. We think they look beautiful and will definitely be checking out the whole collection!

Amy’s signature birds are the subject of much adoration and have been popping up everywhere from Reform School to Target. Now, she’s taken on 50 different state birds, and we bet California’s Valley Quail will go fast…Check out the first half of the series on her website at 1pm.

I liked these. I haven't gone to the site Forestdweller posted. It would be disappointing if these were derivative.

OK, I went to the website Forestdweller posted, and his point seems to be birds are a favorite topic for artists. I did not know that.
