We mainly keep our collecting to functional items (love to Fire-King) and art for our walls, probably because as apartment dwellers there's often not a lot of space for much else. But we could find a space for a collection of these little figurines...
Cmielow Porcelain Animals at Eden & Eden
even if it is a collection of one (and with most at over $100 a pop, it would probably have to be). Each piece is made in Cmielow, Poland from original mid-century molds, then hand-painted. We're particularly fond of the mouse and Roe deer, but they all have their charm (though the "panther" looks suspiciously like a ferret to us). Do any of you collect Cmielow?
