...I am desperate to get my hands on this, we might be moving soon, and I need to have a piece of the City with me. I am also interested in where to buy the "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster as well. Can you help me with that one, too? Thanks so much!

This is great! I was in Golden Gate park last month trying to take a picture of that very sign.

Make a good quality scan of it and send it to a specialized internet site to have it printed on canvas.

Rex May was the artist. He never gets credit for these signs.

I followed the link to the Scenic Drive artist's site and the print doesn't appear to be available any longer. If she is reading this site, is it sold out or just out of stock?

Hi! I am the 49 Mile Drive artist (and Julianna, I always give Rex May credit on the back of my pieces).
They are not prints, they are original paintings. I have a little cardboard template that I trace around with pencil on stretched canvas and than paint with acrylic paint. I do them in all colors, not just blue, orange, and white.
As it happens, I have a show coming up with 49 of these paintings at the wonderful store The Curiosity Shoppe (http://www.curiosityshoppeonline.com/), 855 Valencia in San Francisco. It opens 6:00 pm, Friday October 10th with a party. Come on out!
My husband Eric (http://rewitzer.typepad.com/the_lonely_robot/) will also have limited edition one-color lino prints of the sign at the show. You can buy black versions here: http://3fishstudios.com/live/shop/gallery/1733), and there will be blue and orange versions available exclusively at The Curiosity Shoppe for the duration of the show.
