Fourth of July #2, Independence, Missouri
In San Francisco, Fourth of July and fireworks usually go together like oil and vinegar - they just don't mix. That's not for trying, of course, but most of the time they get blocked out by our ubiquitous fog, leaving mere watercolor marks painting the clouds instead...

But looking at artist Mike Sinclair's photograph Fourth of July #2, Independence, Missouri from 20x200 we're reminded of the fireworks we saw growing up in the Midwest, and how they'd absolutely light up the entire sky. Here's hoping we get to see a display like that in the city this weekend. Happy Fourth!

WOW.

I've been sitting here for 5 FULL MINUTES trying to finish that thought. Epic photos like this are so cool.

....wow....

I'll be adding a print of this to my personal collection. I absolutely love the concept of the website.

The first year after I moved here, I paid big $ to go out on a boat and see the fireworks. I saw NOTHING but smoke and fog. Wish someone would've warned me.
