Those are all very nice, but why are so many mobiles you see these days hung symmetyrically along one axis? I have a couple Flensted mobiles, and a large part of what I love about them is the way they are counterbalanced such that the lightest breeze sets them spinning. Motion is what makes mobiles so magical, and ones like these are doomed to be largely static.

I totally agree, the Flenstad mobiles are terrific!

I love that these are all possible to be made at home. $104 for one is a lil extreme especially now a days
