You can click on the image above for a more detailed view. If you've already gotten your '09 calendar but love this one too, maybe use it for some inexpensive art - just cut out your favorite month and frame it up. We got ours at Wishbone on Irving Street, but the calendar is also available online here.
Images: Barnes and Noble, where the calendar is sold out.
This is sitting on my counter! Can't believe you posted about it. What would be the best way to frame the prints without having to spend a fortune? Or rather, all calendar art? Sounds like a worthy post :)

I like the cardinal piece, but the rest aren't my style.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses calendars as art. I always keep all my old ones to decorate with and I always snatch up a few extras in January when they're on sale just for art work. Hey, even prints can be expensive for those of us in the lower income brackets.

I gotta say, I like this calendar, but I love my Cavallini Farmer's Market calendar. It is huge and looks -- like this one -- like a piece of art on my wall. The days aren't a very practical size, but I love it's elegance.

How about a calendar post, AT?
I'm in the market, but I'm not yet sold.

This calendar is awesome [if you like Charley Harper, anyway], but it's been sold out for months and is almost impossible to find.
I second the need for a calendar post. As for a post on framing calendar art, it would really depend on the size, so you should search through old posts on cheap framing ideas for some tips and inspiration.

Is it really sold out?!? I covet this calendar! I would also love to see a post on AT's favorite calendars!

I have a Yosemite poster with this guy's art. I thought the style looked familiar, so I googled the name- it's definitely him. Maybe I'll have to try to find the calendar too, to complete the theme.

Ha! I bought this calendar last month. Great minds think alike... or shop at Stacey's. :)

Insanity_pepper, you have one of a series of National Parks posters done by Charley; they're huge, beautiful and inexpensive.
For anyone in the Cincinnati area, we at Fabulous Frames & Art still have a bunch of these 2009 calendars that we will be selling this Saturday at our Montgomery location as part of our Annual Harper Show. We'll have tons of Charley's prints for sale, as well as work by his wife Edie and their son Brett, who will be hosting the event.

I am quite intrigued by Charley Harper. I was introduced to his work a few years ago and I fell in love with how he could look at natural objects in such an abstract way.
It sure beats kittens, flowers, and lighthouses (all calendars I've been forced to live with over the years).
