red ticking logo.JPGTucked in the pedestrian-friendly neighborhood of Madison Park is the fabulously chic Red Ticking, a home décor shop owned by designer Pamela Robinson. After years of collecting vintage textiles from Parisian flea markets she was struck by the idea that she could turn her assemblage into a unique storefront.

There are shops so inviting that you’d like to move right in; Red Ticking is one of those shops. It’s comfortable and cozy, familiar and foreign and truly a gem in Seattle. Red Ticking opened in 2002 and vintage lovers quickly found Pamela’s collection intriguing. Not only did clients crave her curated pieces of furniture, lighting, textiles and décor, they wanted her to feature that same look and feel in their own homes. Pamela now helps clients decorate their homes and will often design custom pieces to fit her client’s needs.

It takes a good eye and antique dealer’s knowledge to pick apart the good from the bad and bring only the best to her Seattle shoppers. Red Ticking carries vintage pieces that are constantly changing but the shop also carries fine home linens such as Matteo Bedding and Libeco as well as ceramics, lighting and wall décor.
