The utensils pictured up top are well-used and pretty run-of-the mill. It doesn't take expensive "design-y" utensils or unrealistic standards of cleanliness to make for a beautiful display of these common household items. We touch and use and clean many standard kitchen utensils every single day. Why not elevate them to a position of display within our kitchens? Image: Library of Congress
Clever piece, but I have no wall space in my kitchen to hang something like this. I have surround cabinets. Maybe in my next kitchen, which I expect to be much tinier than what I have now.

if you like looking at kitchen utensils you should look at Jan Groovers work. all 4x5 still lifes of stuff in the kitchen sink they are so beautiful you wouldn't think its a sink half the time!

I like the look but hate the dusting involved in displaying items in the kitchen. Kitchen dust is stickier and takes more effort to remove.

I'm agreeing with Fluffy and dk, but that wouldn't be a concern if I cooked more often. Aside from a handful of things, I am a four-pan, four-utensil cook most of the time. In fact, that would be a good Spring cleaning task.

I was totally thinking Jan Groover as well! Beauty in the everyday.
