Jam Tart Baby's gorgeous modern quilts are vaguely reminiscent of Denyse Schmidt's. But they're for babies.

Christina Romeo creates the one-of-a-kind quilts in British Columbia, using bold colors and simple patterns. They're made with cotton print and solid color fabric, warm and natural cotton batting, and a 12 oz. unbleached cotton flannel back. Triple stitched, they're machine washable, and durable.

There are three sizes: 36x36, 36x44, and 40x40.

Christina will also create custom quilts. Prices are usually between $100 and $150, depending on the customization detail, size and time involved.
