Mid-Century Modern Flash Cards

If you're raising up a little savant, or if you yourself are bamboozled at fashionable cocktail parties when terms like "usonian" and "jet age" wing past you, you might need to work on your style smarts.

Fortunately Greg Chinn has your back. This Art Director/Dad created a whimsically-designed set of flash cards for his daughter that happen to hold wider appeal. Not a surprise: a mini feast of terms and iconic images from the era is packed into each 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" card.

Greg e-mailed us about the set the other day:

"I've created some Mid-Century Modern Alphabet Flashcards that may be of interest. You can purchase them at the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art."

And also through Greg's website.

The set is $30 (includes $5 for shipping and handling).

These flashcards are so badass... Can't wait to make it up to the SFMoMA store buy a set. I don't know if my niece and nephew will "get" it, but mom and dad will sure love the set.
