Bathtubs and Bathrooms Worthy of a Calgon Moment

110409bathtub01.jpg

I've been known to beg Calgon to take me away on occasion (certain months more than others), but somehow my cramped bathroom and uncomfortable bathtub never seem to do the trick. In honor of those times in the upcoming holiday season when we all will wish for a relaxing break from the holiday lines and hectic schedules, here are some bathtubs worthy of that much needed escape.

The first photograph looks like a murder scene.

I agree, first one looking a little deadly.
More than the tubs, I wish my bathroom had such amazing windows and views as 2,3,4 and 6

Calgon was a brand of bathing soap which was said to "take one" away from the mundanity of life.

All lovely bathrooms but as mentioned above, its the expansive views that make them special. That and a good deal of space.

sarahayden, I though the same. Thought I might have missed out on appreciating the "de-limescaling moments" of life ;)

I'd love to see some real-world luxe bathrooms, meaning, less than 100 square feet. Any bathroom as huge as these has so much room for fabulous fixtures and capacious walk-in showers that it's easy to make it swanky. Planning a bathroom remodel, I've been seeing hundreds of images like these, and they are useless.

How about elegant fixtures and design scaled for the more common, not new-built, smallish, older, urban apartment and modest-sized home bathrooms?
