Ditte Isager: Beautiful Interiors & Circus Inspired Photos

Today is Friday for us at Apartment Therapy as tomorrow we have a day off in celebration of 4th of July. I thought I would share with you the beautiful work of a Danish photographer Ditte Isager. I have always loved the circus. My parents used to take my brother and I every time it came to town when I was a child. It was definitely a special event for the whole family. Ditte's circus photos reminded me of the art, costumes, colors, and decorations that I used to admire as a little kid. Enjoy!

We came across her work on Oh Joy! and immediately wanted to see the full portfolio. I also enjoy the textures and colors in her photographs. Beautifully styled interiors and table settings provide a nice variety to her work.

Check out Ditte's full portfolio here. For more inspiration visit her travel, food, and portrait sections as well.

Very cool the way she turns objects into subjects or characters in her photos. They seem anything but inanimate.

What a beautiful woman and she has some very creative ideas. She is somewhat reminiscent of the great Bebe Andersson as photographed in the films of Ingmar Bergman.
