We've been having the serious chills the past few days, as it seems mother nature has finally decided to put an end to SF's splotchy tail of summer. But oh, how these blankets could warm us up... or at the very least add a touch of luxury to our couch.

The blankets at left are hand woven in Ethiopia using a combination of silk from local farms and cotton. At right are mohair throws from Swaziland, also hand woven using traditional methods. Both are made with eco-friendly dyes and have a lovely, handmade texture to them.
