Garnet Hill Flannel Sheets

11-11-garnet1.jpgLast night we had to walk our sick dog several times after midnight. Being total weenies about the California cold, each time we got chilled. At some point it occurred to us that crawling into a bed with flannel sheets sounded really good.

Unfortunately, we don't have any flannel sheets. We had some cheap ones a long time ago, but we vaguely recall them getting all worn out and pill-y. This time we'll order some from Garnet Hill -- but the problem is deciding which ones.

There's the Paintbrush Flannel, which comes in quite a few vibrant colors ($20-$80).

The colors of the Signature Flannel ($28-$137) are pale pastels.

Maxwell raved about the Chambray Flannel ($24-$82) here.

And then there's the Frosted Heather Flannel ($24-$115).

So many choices.

For flannel sheets, a good alternative to Garnet Hill is Target. I bought their flannel sheet set 2 years ago (for a full set it was about $40) and the sheets haven't pilled, are soft and warm, and I have used them almost all year 'round. I was really surprised, not expecting them to last more than 6 months. And Target usually hasa deal going where any sheet set, even king-sized, is one price.

GH's frosted heather flannel sheets are fabulous.
