We recently bought the McKenzie Duvet for a bedroom we're redoing, and looking at your comments from our post this morning on the headboard for the room, we're not the only ones who love it.

The duvet and matching shams are available from Pottery Barn in yellow and a deep blue, and are currently on sale for $26.99- $89.99. See the bedding here.
The yellow duvet cover is only available in a Cal. King right now, but you can easily take it to a seamstress and have it sized down if you have a smaller bed. The McKenzie fabric is also available by the yard if you're feeling crafty.
Seeing as I don't have a king sized bed making your own duvet sounds cheaper? I would need to measure it all out first. My mum and I have made one in the past and a bunch of pillows/pillowcases to match :)

You can always use the duvet cover without a duvet, you know. Like a coverlet. I find a duvet cover ideal for summer, over a sheet, or by itself. It gives the bed a finished look by day without hot weight at night.
