I just got a set of organic cotton sheets at Target this weekend. 250 thread count, but quite soft and I'm sure they will get softer with washing. The set was $39.99 and there were several nice colors.

Has anybody ever used the PotteryBarn ticking stripe sheets? I love how they look, but PB's quality tends to be all over the place (I ordered a bed from them and it was disappointing, and yet somehow some of their stuff is lovely). Are they soft? Do they wash up well? Are the colors legitimately what they look like in the catalog?

Can't speak to the ticking stripe per se, but I love Pottery Barn's organic solids and patterned bedding - it is the only place that seems to sell extra deep full size bedding in colors. Also holds up well, is super soft, washes with minimal wrinkles, no fading. There is more than just the stripe on sale there right now.

LandsEnd.com always has good quality sheets; with extra deep pockets and longer lengths for those of us who are tall! Living in the northwest coast I'm a big fan of their flannel sheets.
