We recently chucked our night tables. They were an invitation to chaos.
For instance, there was an accumulation of EAB (explanation of benefits) statements from the health insurance company hidden somewhere in a large pile of obligtory reading material. Probably we would be healthier if the bedside pile did not include things like the EABs.
But even if we manage to control the clutter, there will always be a need for a catchall near our pillows. There are certain things that just need to be there, like eyeglasses and a water bottle (we get thirsty at night and have knocked over one too many lovely water glasses while reaching for them in the dark).
Love this solution. Love the price, too. I'm sold.

Can you explain how this actually attaches to a chair? I was looking to purchase this to use with my recliner rocker in the nursery, but the only description I can find -- "tongue slips between mattress or over standard sofa arm" -- isn't very helpful. I don't want this if it isn't going to be secure, and hold a decent amount of weight (a water bottle or two, for instance). Can you help me understand how it actually attaches? Thanks.
