Urban Outfitters Bedspread Fabrics

4-1-08 uo bedspread1.jpegAT:LA blogged about the hourglass bedspread last month, but we wanted to take a minute and look at all the other pretty cool fabrics that were recently added...

For example, the hourglass now comes in turquoise, which we find much softer on the eyes.

As far as quality goes, we'd say the fabric is on par with that of IKEA - kind of scratchy. And in our experience the bedspreads are indeed unlined, which means they aren't going to keep you warm by any stretch of the imagination. On the plus side, though, the cloth could be used for a multitude of DIY projects.

Available at Urban Outfitters.

I love their designs and have used them as a cheap fabric source for years for comforter covers, curtains, etc. It's cheaper than almost any by- the-yard....

just wait for them to go on sale. at ten bucks a bedspread, it's really cheap for how much you get.

I love their patterns. I have one that I mainly use on my bed in the summer. It makes my bed look fantastic. I agree that the fabric is a little scratchy, but I have nice sheets with 600 thread count to compensate for that.
