3 Blind Mice by JAS Design-Build

There are so many great details in this home renovation by Seattle-based JAS Design-Build. The project, called 3 Blind Mice, employs salvaged materials and inventive use of space to create an up-to-date family home...

1: Vintage blackboards were salvaged and installed as artwork in the dining room.
2: Built-in sleeping nooks provide plenty of room for guests to sleep over without taking up a lot of space.
3: A "life pantry" houses items that each member of the family uses on a daily basis.
4: A bright-green-painted vanity is fun and fresh in the otherwise white bathroom.

I love the look of 2 PH5 Pendants over and old oak table. The new colored PH50's are great as well. see them on the link below.

love it! especially the unexpected hits of colour, like the green in an otherwise serious marble bathroom.

It doesn't look like much at first, but the functionality really won me over.

If I'm not mistaken, this home was featured in an earlier AT post and faced some harsh criticism...

I, for one, love it. It's completely not my taste, but it's so meticulously thought-out and crafted to meet the family's needs. Plus, yay Seattle!
