Look! Bedroom with Built-In Dog Bed

Never mind the gorgeous sleigh bed in this Moroccan-inspired bedroom, we were taken by how this couple used a small nook created by the angled fireplace and the closet — as a little elevated dog bed.

The artwork and the mirror above the fireplace help integrate the spot with the rest of the room without it looking like a conspicuous architectural indulgence of a beloved pet. Of course, the rest of the room is also tastefully done.

so did they put the bricks there too? cos it looks like it would have been used for firewood.

I agree with darlingcaro. I think they are repurposing the original structure. Still works great though.

Maybe the fireplace could be the cat's home.

I thought firewood storage too. But works as a dog bed if you have a small dog!
