The artwork and the mirror above the fireplace help integrate the spot with the rest of the room without it looking like a conspicuous architectural indulgence of a beloved pet. Of course, the rest of the room is also tastefully done.

so did they put the bricks there too? cos it looks like it would have been used for firewood.
